Elemine Adama Sow

Elemine Adama Sow is specializing in Earth Observation and Remote Sensing, with a focus on renewable energy, climate resilience, and space-based technologies for sustainable development. He is currently the Vice President of the Mauritanian Association for Astronomy and General Secretary of the Mauritanian Geospatialists for Sustainable Development (GMDD). His work centers on using satellite data, GIS, and geospatial analysis to support evidence-based decision-making. Deeply committed to education and innovation, Elemine actively promotes youth engagement and the development of space science and geospatial technology in Mauritania through outreach, advocacy, and capacity-building initiatives.
